About us.
We are a husband, wife and kids’ team who operate a market farm, nursery, and small orchard in Northern California.
In 2021, we ditched the hustle, bustle, and stress of city life, purchased a rural property, and started a small scale market farm and nursery. We are growing a variety of culinary herbs and produce that are common in Thailand and Southeast Asia. We also grow a selection of typical western vegetables and fruits. We not only produce fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit for local farmers’ market and restaurants, we grow potted vegetables, herbs and ornamental plants for home gardens.
Freeze Dried Foods: What started out as a fun way to preserve our farms produce and veggies for personal use and supply, ended up being something that our friends and relatives were intrigued with and wanted our dried produce.
With all the recent disruptions to everyday life and unrelenting geo-political uncertainties. More and more people are becoming keen on the idea of being prepared. One of the key elements of being prepared is to have a reasonable amount of non-perishable food on hand. Freeze dried food fits that bill perfectly. Freeze-dried foods, when properly packaged and stored, can last up to 20 years and be as fresh and nutrient rich, as it was the moment it was freeze dried and packaged.
Up until this spring of 2024, we had been drying a portion of our produce including herbs, vegetables, and fruit which of we had been offering at the local farmers markets, street fairs and a couple local restaurants.
After spring of 2024 and due to increased interest, we expanded beyond fruit, veggies, and herbs and struck a deal on a commercial food kitchen. We now operate a CA state licensed food processing facility in Tehama County. Having a commercial food processing facility to operate from has opened the door for us to begin manufacturing a wide variety gourmet tropical treats and savory meals, as well as continuing with fruits, vegetables and herbs.
